Calling all nature enthusiasts! Join us for the 10th Annual Spring Land Art BioBlitz. This FREE, family-friendly, rain or shine event aims to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the natural world.
This annual event is a great way to reconnect with the land and for community scientists of all ages to learn how to use tools like iNaturalist to record species observations while generating valuable data to help protect, restore, and conserve our local environment.
Land Art and Nature Play activities will be running outside the main lodge all day long. These activities are open to all and whether you drop by for a short visit or participate in every offering, you can expect a day filled with creative, inspiring, and inclusive land-based learning!
Wintergreen Studios’ 200 acre trail network will be open to the public with Self-Guided Hikes and independent art-making opportunities offered concurrently alongside the day’s facilitated offerings. Explore and connect with each other and the land on your own, or with our amazing group of workshop facilitators, artists, and naturalists!

This workshop is intended to spark participants curiosity about foraging, enabling those new to the practice to get out on their own and gather natures bounty!

Together we'll learn not only about how logs are a host to an amazing array of flora and fauna but also how they become communication routes, communities of fungi, soil builders, sequestering carbon and nurse logs, nursing new life!
