School Groups
Bring your class to Wintergreen for a day of hikes and workshops led by our staff of naturalists, artists, and nature enthusiasts!
We’ve been hosting school groups for over a decade at Wintergreen and we’d love to host your class—or several classes from your school (up to 50 students per day).
We provide:
A full day of programming from when the students arrive until departure (typically 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM).
Guided hikes through our 200 acres of land
Workshops on species diversity
Land art and/or music activities
Outdoor classroom for shelter and instruction
Additional activities to learn more at home or back in the classroom
You provide:
Transportation
Lunches
One adult volunteer/chaperone for every 10 students
Fee:
$15 per student
Free follow-up activity
