Do not hoard what seems good for a later place in the book, or for another book; give it, give it all, give it now.
— Annie Dillard

Does your writing need a mid-winter thaw? Flash Forward is a one-day fiction workshop for beginner and intermediate writers interested in strengthening their short fiction and prose.

Under the guidance of writer, editor, and coach Krista Foss, you will draft an original piece of flash fiction (a short story between 500 or 1500 words) or postcard fiction (250-500 words), in a joyful yet serious and supportive setting where you’ll receive feedback, expert tips and a game plan for next steps. Have a short story or novel idea but afraid to start? This workshop aims to inspire and empower you to tackle longer projects.
