An exciting opportunity for anyone who would love to dive deep into figure drawing!

We will have morning and afternoon sessions with a model on both days, Saturday and Sunday. There will be a variety of gesture length poses as well as longer sittings and the opportunity to draw two models together.

Experienced Instructors will be available throughout the weekend but the emphasis will be on sharing experiences and techniques in an informal setting.

About the Instructors

JANE DERBY is a graduate of OCAD and a full time professional visual artist who works with a wide variety of media. DIANE BLACK is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Illustration program. Figure sculpture has been her primary focus for the last 15 years. Together they bring many years of Life Drawing and teaching experience as well as their own multi-disciplinary artistic practices to the workshop.
