Become a Volunteer Beekeeper
Want to get your hands sticky?
Wintergreen Studios is seeking individuals interested in becoming volunteers at the 9th Meadow Apiary. Over the next 8 months, volunteers will not only learn the basics of keeping bees but will also get hands-on training and guidance from experienced beekeepers. From honey bee biology and beekeeping equipment to hive health, honey production, and seasonal responsibilities, with this unique opportunity you will certainly become one with the colonies!
Incentives

Attend all Project Bee workshops (4) without charge (TBD)

Expectations
Participation in introductory session (Saturday, April 24, time TBD)
One full season commitment (April to November)
One hive check per month (approximately 2 hours on site/visit), with the supervision and guidance of Alexandra Pedersen, avid beekeeper and board member of the Limestone Beekeeper’s Guild, or Monica Capovilla, Executive Director of Wintergreen Studios
