This one-day event about the medicine wheel is for people interested in native spirituality, who wish to connect with others, and who wish to learn more about themselves. Julie Vachon will lead us through the day.

Here’s what Julie tells us about how the day will unfold…

The medicine wheel is a simple guide for life. Each direction has teachings on the stages of life, the seasons, the elements, the aspects of self, the animal guides and so much more. We will travel that medicine wheel together and explore how we can benefit from the teachings in our everyday life. I will share my experiences of learning from Grandmothers and how I incorporate the teachings in my life today. As a result of travelling the medicine wheel and being open to learning, I have developed a strong awareness of self, which has allowed me to make positive changes in my life. This is a gift I love to share with others.

About the Instructor

JULIE VACHON is a Metis woman who has studied with many elders and has attended ceremonies over the last 18 years. The aboriginal drum called to her and has helped her find her voice, grow spiritually and help on her healing journey. She brings authenticity and a passion for the drum, encourages others to experience the power of the drum and connect with their true self. The drum represents the heartbeat of our beautiful Mother Earth.

Julie is also experienced with energy work, creative healing, and addictions. At one with nature, she lives the sacred teachings and laughs every day. Love heals all and we are all related! Ho, Meegwetch!
