Whether you’ve just returned from a Camino or walked The Way years ago — or if you’re simply curious about what this is all about — join us for a day of stories and music and food, and be inspired by this ancient pilgrimage.
The stories of how the Camino transforms us are expressed in many ways — through journalling, poetry, photography, videography, and music. Come to Wintergreen to experience these creative expressions, along with food from this historic and storied pilgrimage of Spain. Workshop sessions will include a focus on both the practical (what route to take, what to pack) and the inner journey (what lessons the Camino might have to teach us). Bring your memories from your own Camino, or if you haven’t gone yet, bring your dreams. Be inspired to join the thousands who have already the beautiful Camino de Santiago.
In the evening, we will launch Peter Coffman’s extraordinary new book of photographs and meditations, Camino, published by Wintergreen Studios Press. Beginning with a Camino inspired dinner, the evening will unfold with readings from Peter’s book, as well as music of Oliver Schroer, including previously unreleased tracks that were recorded on the Camino when Peter and Oliver walked the Camino together.
