Join Métis Knowledge Keeper Lorrie Potvin for a Sacred Fire and Pipe Ceremony. We will begin with a smudge, followed by songs and opening prayers. Lorrie will share teachings of the sacred fire, share the pipe creation story, and talk about how the meanings of stone and stem depend on each nation’s traditions. Then, pipes will be loaded and prayers shared. The ceremony will end with a sharing circle and closing prayer.
