June Open Trails Quest

  • Wintergreen Studios 90 Wintergreen Lane South Frontenac, ON Canada (map)
Hiking is not escapism; it’s realism. The people who choose to spend time outdoors are not running away from anything; we are returning to where we belong.

Open Trails is FREE and open to all. Should you like, a charitable donation can be made to help support trail maintenance and events at Wintergreen. All donations will receive a tax receipt.

Printed trail maps and hiking poles will be available on the Lodge porch. There is an outhouse in the Camping Meadow for guest use.

Bring anything you deem necessary to spend some time out on the land, which may include hiking shoes/boots, layered clothing, hat, insect repellent, water, and snacks.

Remember that some of the trails pass by cabins that may be occupied. Please be respectful both to other guests and to the land and its inhabitants.

Other than the three scheduled guided hikes, hiking the trails is self-guided and at your own risk.
