Wintergreen Studios is a year-round
education and retreat centre in the Frontenac
Arch Biosphere Reserve in Southeastern Ontario. We
offer a variety of short courses in the fine and domestic
arts, as well as retreat and meeting facilities for individuals
and groups. You can view our facilities on a short YouTube
video and in our photo albums.
Guests at Wintergreen have access to a network of over
twenty trails for self-guided hikes through the 204-acre
property. The land features mixed forests and meadows,
granite outcroppings, ponds, marshes, and a glacier carved
lake. It is home to a wide range of plant
life and wildlife.
There is a floating bridge to a private island on the
lake, where guests can enjoy a picnic and swim.
Wintergreen Studios is a not-for-profit organization.
We were incorporated as a charitable body on September
10, 2007. The lodge was built in the summer and fall of
2008 and our first workshops
were offered in the fall of 2008. |
